GREENPEACE BIG THANKS FROM DANGEROUS INVASIVE CREATURES

To raise awareness of environmental issues, a massive “thank you” letter from a fire ant — Japan’s most notorious toxic invasive species — was displayed at Shibuya’s scramble intersection. Written in its native Spanish, the letter thanks people for their environmentally unfriendly lifestyles, which have accelerated climate change and created ideal conditions for invasive species to thrive. A QR code led viewers to a Japanese translation online.
