TAKEO GREETING CARD 2022

OUWN’s Atsushi Ishiguro designed overseas greeting cards for Takeo Co., Ltd., inspired by the Tokyo Olympics—a year when global attention turned to Japanese culture. The design unites elements from comic art, traditional patterns, karesansui, and customs like wrapping and folding, to let people experience Japan anew.
Envisioning “a comic frame with the subtle shadows of karesansui,” I chose Snowble-FS for its strength, soft touch, and snow-white tone. To balance the deep hues of tradition with the vivid colors of comics—while enabling folds that spark curiosity—I used Vannuvo LT-FS with HP Indigo digital printing, achieving color and vibrancy beyond expectation.
