For WA inc.’s NICAL—a nationwide brand from ORiental TRaffic, crafted primarily in genuine leather—the 2023 Spring/Summer visuals feature actress Maryjun Takahashi as the image model. OUWN oversaw direction and design in its entirety, weaving together the refined presence of the shoes with Takahashi’s striking allure. The power of a single cut emerged from this union of craftsmanship and character. The brand’s logo, too, was a creation previously designed by Ishiguro.
